Day 12Today, I learnt something in marketing is calling clients. It is also important learn how to speak to clients over the phone. It is the regarding the e-invites sent 2 weeks ago for the upcoming event, ABB Customer Day 2009 on the 8th October. Bryan gave me a list of excel of e-invites to the various companies. I was very nervous over the phone, even the client requests me to talk louder. This is my first time talking to client. This is also why Bryan ask if I’m comfortable talking to clients.
After break, Nazreen Yunos told me not to call during 12 noon to 2pm. Lunch time break, it is also when clients not in the office and tends to ignore your phone. She guided me and wrote it out how to talk to client. Due to no phone on my desk, I went to Michelle’s desk to access the phone.
The end of the day, I have learn how to talk to client as well. There are several calls, that some of the clients had left the company or even retired.
