Day 55

Day 54

Bobby drove us there as he going down there to settle some issues. For me and Sok Yee we have appointment with Mr Koh from Sunlight Electric at Ubi there.

Came back office 2am. Later heading down to Huat Heng at Pandan Loop at 4pm.

Last minute, she have some issues happened on the site. It's on the ABB product, MCB having a yellow phase not working. Very serious issues. Hence, we cancelled the meeting.



Day 53

Today is the most busiest day, have to meet 3 customers in the same building at Admiralty Northlink. Bryan drove there to meet the first customer at 11am, Puretech met up with Mr Alex Chan, director and Mr Eng, the purchaser conducting the Panel Builder Survey.

Had lunch together at RP.

Headed back the same location to meet Mr Elson Ang from Elsteel Techno(S) Pte Ltd at 2 pm and 3pm with Mr MK Khoh from Khoh & Khoh Brothers Electrical.

Almost every appointment about an 1 hour.

Day 52

Took cab down to Admiralty Street at Northlink Building.
Met up with 2 clients. 10am with Andrew Heng H.H and 11am with Michael Goh M.E power Integration.

Took bus 962 to Woodlands interchange for lunch. At 1pm went to OCBC to make my VISA card replacement. Came back office to compile the survey forms and at 3pm had AP Marketing Weekly meeting until 5.30pm. OT until 8.30pm.

Day 51


Day 50

Came to the office to prepare the things for later meeting the client Mr Soh. Bryan drove me down to Toh Guan East Blk 48. Blackstone Power & Controls have shifted out to 1 Bukit Batok Crescent #07-39. Called and check the location for the new address. Around 10.20am met up Mr Soh and inside the meeting room conducting the survey. He is in charge 100% of the project in Philippines therefore, he uses and recommend more on ABB products like ACB and MCCB. He shares one to two experience of the past incident with us.

Around 11am we finished conducting the survey. Compile and update the 3 survey forms in the excel sheet. Came back office after lunch, realised that someone opened my panel builder file contact list.

Help Ying Hua to collect printing for the motor invites for the 4th December 2009. Winnie asks if Monday I can come office at 7.30am to help her in the invites for the external and internal drives event. She will help me for time-off day.

Day 49

Meeting with Michelle and Matthew, they want to find out the results after the 2 visits to the panel builders. 9.30 am to 10.30am. Compile the customer visit and transportation claims. Resourcing the Christmas pre-post event for AP 60mins as well. 6pm

Day 48

Prepare the the goodies bag and appreciation token for the panel builder. One ABB folder with brochures and Y2010 calendar and one mini diary and a pen.

2pm went to Syntech Switchgear & Engineering Pte Ltd appointment with Mr Benjamin Hong but he not around.
Therefore, his mother LC Tan do the survey. His father is Steven Ang. prompting the questions in the interview.
Very nervous in the room. Sok Yee went with me.

4pm with Alvin Lim, Purchaser Inter power engineering Pte Ltd at Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2A. He share his experience and elaborate some of the things that our sales engineer is competent and etc. feedback about the support line and the services provided.

Day 47



Today Michelle is back. Discussed with her the panel builder plan was delay by a week. Due to LVP, Mr NS Koh said it is bias for sales person to in charge of the surveying the panel builder. This week have to start the make appointment with the panel builder. Dialled almost 30 contacts. Some accept the interview. Enercon system international LLCis not able to make appointment therefore, send the survey to the Zalinah, the administrator officer to do the survey. I’m not able to conduct the survey with Bryan Tan therefore, the best person is Zalinah Othman to take the survey.


Pack 10 door gifts for the visit for the panel builders. Tomorrow, I have 2 customer to meet. Benjamin Hong from Syntech enterprise at Lingjack industrial building at 2pm. Kelvin, Purchaser from Interpower engineering Pte ltd at 4pm.

Day 46


I went Bryan to CPG consultants to meet Mr Chan.

He want to find out on the motor & drives technical stuffs. What is the rated nominal 690V usages on what kind of application. The RCBO and MCB for every output. The project like HDB does it use the RCBO and etc. How the quality of the motor and the graph that run inside the black box. Talked with matthew about the survey Panel Builder that Mr Ong PS don’t understand and might having the consultant to go will be myself and michelle to do the survey. Next week will start to make appointment with the client.
Afternoon there are 2 training for me to attend, but I only can attend one, either Motor&Drives Theory or DocWin training.



I had lunch with Mr Lim SL in Fusionopolis with sokyee, bryan, Ying Hua. Went to them to buy the pastries at marketplace at Fusionopolis. The docwin, Sok Yee introduce ABB. Mr Ong PS talked about the circuit breakers and specification. Lionel introduce the DOCWIN software. How to use the docwin on the cable sizing for using the appropriate circuit breakers and put in the numbers to suit the situation. 1 putout but there could have many outputs. 4 Rankine and Hill engineer attended the training. 2 Mechanical engineer another 2 electrical engineer dept.

Day 44

Today, count the number of pages per chapters of the pricebook. Divide the chapter 5 into 3 category namely soft starters, LV & MV Drives and motors.

With Nazreen help, she teach me how to use the pivot of the excel with the percentage and etc. Weixin call me and let me do the IC for the team building session.

But due to restriction again, Ying Hua want to do it as she is the admin for the marketing team. 8 names, contact and any diet or injuries.

Day 43

had lunch with phil chan, Winnie, sok yee, Mr Ong, Nazreen. I helped Nazreen with the compiled of the survey form of the robotics training on the 27/28th Oct external training. Update the database with external robotics training of the name cards. About 10 name cards by Nazreen.

Day 42

Today, I type in all the data into the excel. Name, position, address, postal, email, contact numbers. Matthew add in the frontline Person-In-Charge1&2.

Nazreen taught me how to talk to clients on the phone to make appointment.
AP marketing weekly Meeting in Dahlian until 7pm. Talking about project and employee and employee facing problems. Solutions and a common database visit clients templates. Using excel pivot. 18th dec team building with drives services. Etc etc

Day 41

Matthew have check the survey and approved. He also handed me the contact list who to call.

I managed to finish up with the database but still need to check the category and industry properly. I went up to HR and told Yvonne to declared the personal laptop with ABB Pricing, she advice me to use the software and not to access the ABB network, as the IS said it will detect the IP Address, the AP marketing BU will hold responsible anything if there happens.

Day 40



Main Database entry (1/2) and busy with the survey questionnaires and supplimentry questions for the panel builders. I come out with all the questions and let Matthew to see.

Printed several times to check any grammatical errors and mistake.

Today, bought my laptop and busy editing the survey and thinking the supplimentry questions. Discussed with Nazreen and Michelle. As Michelle is one week on leave therefore I handle the whole survey myself.

Printing the labels of the shelf and content pages.
Completed labelling the 4 shelf and the additional shelf until volume 29 of the shelf 2.

Around 4pm Anthony ask me to help Shankar with the autocad drawing the project circuit in her laptop. Using a similar file to do additionally circuit and add in the components like capacitors, treated water pump. It is a single-line diagrams input. Editing the labels of the components in the circuit. Example: (500W) - water pump and etc. Tonight the client have to receive the 2 drawings. Aftermath, continue with the labels in the library.

The rolling shelves. Cos the shelves can push and have 4 rollers at the bottom. Therefore, i named it as The rolling shelves.

The A0 map layout. Project Completed yet to be kept but not yet done.

writing out the file description to do labelling in the library. I'm like the libraries sia.Ah-ha i label them out. trimming the labels4 shelves of labels. Can u imagine i open all the file and writing all out. first shelves completedwooohooo! completed in 2+ hrs pasting the labels.
Took a day to finish. more to go. But also have to depend I heading back to power generation for secondattachment.
